Product Details
The ProSoft PS69-DPS is a PROFIBUS DP Slave Communication Module designed for use with 1500 PLC platforms. This module enables seamless integration between controllers and devices on a PROFIBUS DP network. By functioning as a slave on the PROFIBUS DP network, the PS69-DPS allows PLCs to communicate with PROFIBUS DP Master devices such as Siemens PLCs and various field devices like I/O modules, drives, and sensors.

The PS69-DPS module enhances the functionality of systems by adding support for PROFIBUS DP V0/V1 communication. It offers a cost-effective solution with more features than the PS69-PDPS, including both I/O control and messaging capabilities. The module uses explicit ladder logic CIP message blocks for obtaining slave status diagnostic data and performing acyclic messaging.

The PS69-DPS integrates with controller as a standard I/O module, allowing it to be configured through RSLogix5000, or it can be configured directly by the PROFIBUS DP Master. A GSD file is provided for third-party configuration. The module includes a diagnostic interface, with rotary switches for setting the bus address, and offers LED indicators to display communication and device status. Additionally, complete program examples are available to facilitate a quick and easy start-up.
