The GE Fanuc IC698CHS117 Rx7i I/O Rack for the Rx7i PACSystem. This 18-slot I/O rack is software configurable, and it supports VME64 backplane system for all the Rx7i CPUs and I/O configurations, the Series 90-70 I/Os, and the VME modules.
The GE Fanuc IC698CHS117 RX7i I/O Rack is made for the Rx7i PACsystem series. The IC698CHS117 Rack is a wall-mounted 18-slot I/O rack built for the VME64 backplane system and high-level power supply. This I/O rack has up to 4 times more bandwidth strength than the standard VME backplane systems and thus it provides faster I/O throughput. The IC698CHS117 Rack supports the GE Fanuc Rx7i CPUs, Rx7i I/O modules, Series 90-70 I/Os, and all the standard VME modules. It has a slot-sensing feature for rack-type I/O modules and it is configured with programming/configuration software, eliminating DIP switches and jumper configurations. All the Rx7i racks have an open-type design and they must use the IP 54 standard enclosures or enclosures with higher ratings for safe use in an industrial environment.
